33 weeks

Wow our little peanut can be here as little as 4 weeks from now. I'll be officially full term in less than 4 weeks. It's getting exciting and scary at the same time. I worry about getting tired during labor and not be able to push and him getting stuck in the birth canal and let me be honest I am scared of tears! :/ Arash and I go to prenatal class every Thursday and they teach us some techniques to help the process but still is a scary and hard process to be in labor for 24 hours. Just the pushing stage for first time moms is about 2 hours. Holy Moly!
We got some exciting moments this last week. My mom held a baby shower party and we got spoiled with a lot of gifts. :D We did some baby shower games and people got pretty competitive and there was this lady who cheated just to win. Unbelievable!!! The theme was rubber ducky. I am a big fan, but daddy thinks submarines are cooler. I guess he will have both (of course BPA free ones). :)
Here are some of the pictures from baby shower:

The main exciting event of this week was checking out his cute little face with 3D ultrasound. Arash was insisting to get it done and we kinda did it late. Normally it should be done around 28 weeks when baby still has lots of space. Not only our chunky monkey was running out of space, he decided to move from head down to breech position which is not the best position to view the baby. On the top of all that his legs and arms were guarding his face and he was sucking on his umbilical cord. Our little big peanut is weighting 4.5lbs and according to the technician he will gain a pound every two weeks. He is already very cute and chubby. It was his nap time so he was mostly sleeping. His head is measuring two weeks ahead (very encouraging to know ;)) but the rest right on schedule. Also his head is full of hair already. The nose is squished in the pictures since the technician was pressing on it to keep his legs away from his face. He has the perfect nose. :o) His heart rate was 130bpm during ultrasound which is all good. I am already in love with this little man and can't imagine a life without him. Thank you, God for this miracle!
