I guess my little man likes it well-done and is taking his time to be fully cooked. That's fine with me as long as he tell me secretly when he is coming. I try to be ready all the time for his big entrance, but this waiting game is a bit hard on impatient mommy. Although I am having mixed feelings about meeting him and missing his co-living.
Today we finally got our maternity pictures done. I think they will come out good despite of me being hella pregnant. Thanks for amoo Roham and khaleh Maryam. :)

Full term
37 glorious weeks and now we are officially full term. The count down starts and I am just curious to see when my little man decides to come. He's been such a great roommate that mommy will definitely miss him in her belly. Although at the same time can't wait to see his little chubby super cute face and hug him all the time. I am used to all his moves and kicks. Nursery is almost ready for his grand entrance. Just need a little bit more time to organize and super clean the house; talk about nesting instinct. :)
We had an OB appointment yesterday and everything seems to be on track and great. I am still anxious about the whole labor thing. I've tried to consider all the possible scenarios, but still they say it probably won't go as you expect. That makes me nervous! :/
We made our last trip to Seattle last week. I guess next time I visit our families, I'll be with this little munchkin and officially a women. Still can't believe it. Birth of your child will officially push you in the adult zone; Responsibility, Responsibility, Responsibility!

34 and counting...
34th week! When did I grow up, finished school, got married that I am having a baby now?! I have no idea. All my life I was thinking I am designed to be a good mom and now that is becoming a reality I am scared. I am scared what if I do something wrong? I know every parents do many things wrong, but what if I am not capable of handling it. It's a lot of responsibility and attention. I can't snooze anymore. This is not like school or work; it requires 100% of me 24/7. I already love this little man so much that seems to be all worth it and I have not even seen him yet. However, the whole parenthood is now scaring me. Ding dang; too late! :D On the bright side this little monkey is moving and rolling around all the time. He keeps changing position and putting his butt out.
I had my OB appointment yesterday and everything looks great and on the schedule. He moved to head down position and looks like he only wanted to give us hard time at the 3D ultrasound. Way to go, Peanut jan! Doctor confirmed his chubby cheeks. God help me not to abuse those cute cheeks. It will be hard I know. I didn't gain weight this week and my doctor was like "good for you! You baby still grows on the schedule" Does that mean I lost some weight? hmm weird.
This weekend we are taking Pishy back to Seattle and I am going to greatly miss her. She has been such a good girl keeping my company for the last month. I am already addicted to her and it's hard to let her go, but I guess I don't have any choice; we may not go to Seattle again before baby. :/
OK this little monkey can come as soon as 3 weeks from now and we are desperately waiting for his arrival. He will be one little chubby monkey that won't leave us anytime soon, right? :D
Thank you God joonam! :*

33 weeks
Wow our little peanut can be here as little as 4 weeks from now. I'll be officially full term in less than 4 weeks. It's getting exciting and scary at the same time. I worry about getting tired during labor and not be able to push and him getting stuck in the birth canal and let me be honest I am scared of tears! :/ Arash and I go to prenatal class every Thursday and they teach us some techniques to help the process but still is a scary and hard process to be in labor for 24 hours. Just the pushing stage for first time moms is about 2 hours. Holy Moly!
We got some exciting moments this last week. My mom held a baby shower party and we got spoiled with a lot of gifts. :D We did some baby shower games and people got pretty competitive and there was this lady who cheated just to win. Unbelievable!!! The theme was rubber ducky. I am a big fan, but daddy thinks submarines are cooler. I guess he will have both (of course BPA free ones). :)
Here are some of the pictures from baby shower:
The main exciting event of this week was checking out his cute little face with 3D ultrasound. Arash was insisting to get it done and we kinda did it late. Normally it should be done around 28 weeks when baby still has lots of space. Not only our chunky monkey was running out of space, he decided to move from head down to breech position which is not the best position to view the baby. On the top of all that his legs and arms were guarding his face and he was sucking on his umbilical cord. Ourlittle big peanut is weighting 4.5lbs and according to the technician he will gain a pound every two weeks. He is already very cute and chubby. It was his nap time so he was mostly sleeping. His head is measuring two weeks ahead (very encouraging to know ;)) but the rest right on schedule. Also his head is full of hair already. The nose is squished in the pictures since the technician was pressing on it to keep his legs away from his face. He has the perfect nose. :o) His heart rate was 130bpm during ultrasound which is all good. I am already in love with this little man and can't imagine a life without him. Thank you, God for this miracle!

30th week
WOW I am down to the last quarter of my pregnancy. I can't believe it's been 30 weeks and only 10 more to go (if not less). We are getting very excited about Peanut joining us soon and I am getting freaked out about the whole labor and postpartum. Every time I think about it, I get more scared and then I remind myself that everybody does it and they seem to survive. My mom with her small build did it so I can do it.
Luckily I passed my Glucose Tolerance Test last week and that was a relief. I was worried with all the eating white bread and rice on our trip I'd screwed up. I guess not! :)
We also moved to our new place in NorthVan. It's not Kits, but it's a good neighborhood and I really like the new apartment's view and lighting. The only thing is that every thing is so white that I am constantly afraid of staining somewhere. I am sure Peanut will not let it stay this clean much longer. :D I've started nesting and preparing Peanut's room. He is sharing his room with daddy as they call it their "Man Cave". I can't wait to see how Arash and Peanut interact with each other and Peanut try to follow his daddy. I believe he will be great daddy. We've decided not to buy a TV for now so we'll have a lot interaction with our baby.
My belly is getting huger everyday and is always on the way. I am growing out of some of my maternity clothes. No stretch marks yet, but I am assuming I'll get some considering the family history. Little man is constantly moving in there and this morning we played tag with each other. It's such a great feeling that I want to stay pregnant forever. Thank you for everything, my dear God! :*
