First OB appointment

We had our first OB appointment today that went pretty well. Everything looks great and sheytoon peanut is on track.
Looks like we have a good experienced OB. We also did a quick ultrasound at the office, but finigili was moving so much that the doctor couldn't get the exact heart rate, but he said it's around 140-150bpm. :) Peanut had his/her hands up over his head. I think s/he was "laming" like Arash. ;)

I still can't believe we are becoming parents. So unreal, but I am happy... :)

Nice Day

It's a nice sunny day in Vancouver and here I am sitting with my dearest cat blogging. I had some back pain yesterday so I decided to take it easy at night. It's not like I was doing any heavy duty tasks anyway. ;) This evening I am going to do some maternity clothes shopping. I am not too big yet, but this belly of mine is sticking out and I only can wear one of my pants and not most of shirts. Of course that was kind of predictable with my petite built. I've heard a lot of good things about maternity clothes. We'll see tonight. :)

It's confirmed! :)

I still can't believe this little peanut (or plum by now) is living inside my belly. I'd held expressing my joy and hope until today, but today I am announcing to the world: I am pregnant. It's so good to be able to talk about it.
We had the NT Scan today where they look at possibility of down syndrome. Although I knew I was not qualified for it, because of my age and no history of down in the family, my doc recommended to follow up with pregnancy progress. To me, you can never get enough assurance. Thank God every thing looked perfect. S/He had a heart rate of 168bpm. Wow that's pretty fast! It kept moving his/her hands like s/he was dancing. Arash watched the whole thing, but they only gave me some quick looks.
I still think it's a boy and daddy thinks it's girl. I guess we'll know Dec 10th on my next ultrasound.
Now that it's confirmed I am a pregger, I'll try to be a good blogger mommy and update frequently.

Keep us in your prayers...
